It's truly interesting if the Floyd originally had an idea for the drums and the guitar solo to be included in their studio version. I can only speculate they did or at least Roger had this idea, but a ballad in the same vein as Hey You and Comfortably Numb would've been too much for the second half of the album.

Italian metal fans are the best. Still rulle. Dark Tranquillity is one of the best progressive mrlodic death band of all tiime. They contributed to create this genre , with In Flames and Hipocrisy. And after 30 years they still rule. Great. I've seen in Milan in 1997 and after a lot of years , as i see i ln this videos, in my Milan, they're still great.
